This Thanksgiving I spent some time with family in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, on the Outer Banks. My first full day there I ventured out to the beaches with my uncle. It was cold and windy, but I was struck by a gorgeous silver light that seemed to be everywhere. So I brought my camera with me.
