Just wanted to take a break from Jamaica posts and share with you an awesome promotional package that the fabulous Jessica Watson at JWatson Creative designed for me. These postcards will be tied together with string, going through a hole punched in the card, placed in an envelope and mailed to potential clients. I highly recommend working with Jessica if you’re in need of any promotional materials, she rocks. Jamaica with The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders Pt 1.

I just returned from one of the best job’s I’ve been blessed with receiving, assisting Shawn Hubbard on The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleader swim suit calendar. We arrived in Jamaica after a gloomy day in Baltimore and began our 4 days of location scouting. We spent our days 8-6 traveling about the island, an hour in either direction from where we we staying, seeing parks, gardens, and beaches that we might find suitable for shooting. On the 4th day the girls and the rest of the crew arrived and then began our crazy 3 day in one schedule that would last for the next week. Because we wanted to shoot sunrise and sunset we were up at 2am (ish) nearly every day for hair and makeup, then around 4 we would leave to one of our morning locations. We would shoot until 730-830 and head back to our hotel. The next hours were filled with napping, production work, swimming, eating and relaxation. But that was only a short respite as we had to get going again around 3pm to prepare to shoot by sunset. We’d return home around 730-830pm and eat dinner and sleep, and repeat for 7 days. It was exhausting, but amazing. I really love my job. My main responsibility was to help Shawn with lighting, while Elle Perez did the main grip work. The down time each day was not only needed to rest but it was great bonding time for our team. We got to work with some talented and awesome people and I have stories that could fill a few pages, but I wont do that, I’ll just let you enjoy some of the images I was able to capture when I wasn’t working. Many thanks to everyone in Jamaica for helping us make this happen.
